A: The science behind our micromister products indicates that the ingredients are quickly and completely absorbed through the mouth, throat, and lungs into the bloodstream. Ingredients that are swallowed are absorbed into the bloodstream through the digestive tract.

The alcohol in our micromisters kills viruses and germs and it thins the mucous membranes in the mouth, throat, and lungs, improving absorption. Alcohol has also been shown to improve respiration. In addition, many of the active ingredients used in MicromistNOW products are alkaloids, which have been inhaled through smoking for thousands of years. More importantly, scientific studies have shown that alkaloids are not carcinogenic, although they can be highly addictive. The conclusion is that as long as the active ingredients have already been shown to be safe and effective by ingestion or other means, they are safe and effective to be inhaled and swallowed..
